Leave UR Mark has a microfinance internship opportunity in Bangalore, India for a duration of 1-3 months. This is a great opportunity for international interns to get an idea of how the micro credit and micro finance markets work in another country.

Interns would work for an organization that gives interest free loans to women from slum and poor communities to setup businesses of their own, become independent and get out of the debt trap.

Interns will get experience with:

1)Case Studies of successful entrepreneurs

2)Management of funds

3)Researching where help is needed

4)Ensuring proper allocation of resources

5)Shadowing a typical micro credit session

6)Organizing Soup Kitchens

Requirements:

1)Must be 18 years and older

2)Good command of English

Leave UR Mark charges a $550 placement fee to help organize your trip Pre-Departure and internship placement.
