Leave UR Mark has an opportunity for a 1 to 3 month internship in Journalism at a newspaper in India for international students or graduates. Interns will work for a highly circulated newspaper in Bangalore and will get a chance to put their writing skills to use. You do not have to be a journalism or writing major in order to apply.

You will be getting credit for each and every article that you write. This is not a ghost-writing internship but rather a chance to create a tangible writing portfolio.

The internship is a great way to learn more about the city and write articles about its people, places, restaurants, and nightlife. Some sample articles that you would be writing about are:

-Food and Wine Tasting Reviews

-Restaurant Reviews

-Nightclub/Lounge/Bar Reviews

-Opening Night/Launch Party Coverage

-Music Festival Coverage

-Interviewing DJs and Musicians

-Shopping and Retail Reviews

-”Improving the City” features

Interns must be 18 and over and either enrolled at an accredited university or have already graduated.

Leave UR Mark charges a $600 Placement Fee for securing your internship, total Pre-Departure support (visas, health, insurance, safety guidance) and airport pickup at Bangalore International Airport.

Leave UR Mark can also help arrange housing and food close to the internship office for an additional cost or you are free to look on your own. You are welcome to use our local support team to take care of you from start to finish of the internship.
